It came to us to show us how powerful life is

It came to us to show us how powerful we are together

It came to us to force us to have important conversations about what we want in life

It came to us to show us different routes

It came to us to let us know that we can create great things together

It came to us to show us that we are compatible, not only in ways we already knew, but biologically

It came to us to let us know that we are healthy and fertile and will live a long life

It came to us to tell us that it takes determination to create the life we want, and that time is precious

It came to us to let us know that we have to attack life in trenches bit by bit

It came to us to show us more depths of life

It came to us so that we could pour our hearts and souls out even more, for us to understand that we truly want to spend life together

It came to us to show us that it’s the universe communicating and it’s here to teach us and guide us throughout our entire lives

It came to us so I could feel how it is to really carry you within me

It came to us to show us grief, so that we appreciate life even more

It came to us to celebrate what we’ve already done and all that we’ll do

It came to us to say hi and then let us go

This spirit had lots of meaning, and was important to us, and therefore to the world

It wasn’t for nothing, it was everything

It came with messages and teachings and a handful of love

And we’ll meet it again
